Workshops

We give a 3 day Film 101 crash course that introduces the basics of filmmaking to students.  6th - 12th graders can expect a diverse range of engaging creative components to get a feel for the process and gain a solid education on the drug being highlighted at the time. We also use workshops to encourage students to continue volunteering with us full time.

Discussions

Our educational round-tables are 45-minute open dialogue discussions centered around the drug being highlighted by the Media Project at the moment. The discussions are meant to cultivate sustainable strategies we can successfully implement in the race to prevent youth drug and alcohol abuse among 6th - 12th graders. Attendees will be a mix of youth, seasoned professionals, parents, and community leaders.
